Charity Reporting

BookCheck has extensive experience over 20 years in reporting to trustees. Our charity clients vary from small to multi million. It's never been more important or more necessary for trustees to receive prompt, sound and reliable management information as a basis for controlling the finances.

What we've found is that trustees have varying needs. Beyond the obvious, receiving basic management information, is it easily understood, with the desired mix of numbers and pictures, detail or summary, comparisons, benchmarking? The ideal, which is achievable, is that every trustees is satisfied, comfortable and understanding of the financial information. That's a great feeling but usually missing in the new charity clients we take on. We call this the eyeball test in that eventually we ‘look’ each trustee in the eye and achieve a “Yes, totally happy with the information” as nothing less is good enough.
