Anthony founded the company in 1994, seeing a need for quality book-keeping together with Management Accounts. He works with our MD James to win new business and has responsibility for the strategic development of the Company

Anthony qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in Bristol after graduating from Bristol University where he read Economics & Accounting. He has worked for BAe Systems, Unilever, Marsh & McLennan (Bermuda), TV Times and Time Warner. He has a strong IT background, evidenced by the Company providing from as far back as 2003 what are now called Cloud services

After studying Zoology at Royal Holloway, a second degree in Accounting and Finance was completed before qualifying in 2018 as a Chartered Accountant.

Zara's responsibilities include client and staff relations, and all admin tasks involved in the running of a busy Head Office. Zara joined BookCheck in 2002

Kate has worked for BookCheck for over 15 years as BookCheck’s Finance Administrator. Kate handles several payroll clients for BookCheck. She gained a distinction in her level 2 and 3 Award in Payroll Management and Systems qualifications in 2017

Lindsay joined the payroll team in September 2022. Lindsay started out in accountancy, completing her AAT in 1996. Alongside accountancy, Lindsay covered the payroll and now has almost 30 years’ experience in payroll, working in payroll bureaus within the accountancy sector and several years in the corporate sector. She decided to give up accountancy in 2004 and focus solely on her payroll career, gaining her Diploma in Payroll Management in 2006. She has been a member of the CIPP ever since

Carl joined the payroll team in March 2021. He has over nine years of payroll & finance experience, particularly within client service and has managed the payroll processes for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients, ranging from SME’s to larger multi-national companies in numerous sectors. Some of Carl’s previous clients include Facebook UK, Glassdoor & FNZ. Carl enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering the best possible service to meet company needs and expectations.

Chanél joined the payroll team in 2020. Originally from South Africa she now lives in Gloucester. After working in HR and Payroll for 10 years where she gained a Sage VIP Payroll certificate in 2014. Chanél decided to specialise in payroll in 2018. Chanél is passionate about people and thoroughly enjoys the complexities of payroll as she says “no day in the life of a payroller is without learning

Katie chose to work in payroll as she has a love of numbers and problem solving. She completed an ICB Diploma in payroll management using Sage payroll. She has used several payroll systems including Sage, IRIS, and Xero to name a few. She loves the challenges the role provides and takes great pleasure in solving queries. She likes to build a good working relationship with her clients, so they feel they can ask for help with any query, no matter how small. Katie joined BookCheck in 2017

Christine has over 40 years payroll experience, starting with written Kalamazoo, then Sage and latterly IRIS. She has experience in running a payroll for 450 employees (weekly and monthly). In common with all our payroll officers she is very experienced at handling pension auto enrolment. She worked on Charity payrolls for over 10 years before joining the BookCheck team in 2014

Diona has worked in banking and for an accountancy practice in their payroll bureau for just over 20 years. She has processed payroll on Sage, Moneysoft and Iris software for a range of different companies. She qualified as a Payroll Technician with CIPP in 2018

Lorna has over 40 years payroll experience, before which she worked for Lloyds Bank. To enhance her business and technical knowledge before returning to work after starting her family, she attained a Higher Diploma in Administration and Secretarial Procedures. Today, Lorna is conversant with several different payroll packages including Sage, Iris, People Soft, Work Desk, Star, Trent etc

Beckie joined the payroll team in August 2022.
Beckie has 8 years of payroll experience, with a background of working within a
Chartered accountants payroll bureau.
She has managed the payroll process for a large portfolio of clients ranging from
1 employee to 1500 employees.
Beckie enjoys getting to know her clients and providing the best customer
experience for them, whilst also enjoying the day-to-day payroll process

Kerry joined the payroll team in September 2023. She has over 10 years payroll experience and has a diploma in Payroll Management. Swapping her life as cabin crew to build a new career in Payroll. Kerry is passionate about what she does and enjoys the day-to-day challenges payroll brings

Anne is from the North of Scotland and joined the payroll team in 2023. She has worked in payroll for 18 years mostly at Senior Level and has gained an Advanced Payroll Technician certificate, which she passed with distinction. She loves getting to know different clients and looking at ways to streamline procedures

Janet has been working for BookCheck since 2005. She carries out most of the prospective client Xero or Sage HealthChecks and prepares BookCheck's own management accounts. Janet is our Excel guru

ACMA qualified Management Accountant for 17 years. Always worked with SMEs. Broadly experienced over many sectors with specialist knowledge of logistics

David is ACMA qualified and has worked for a variety of SMEs as Company Accountant. His work has involved him in a number of different sectors such as: aerospace, professional services, IT and environmental services. Joined BookCheck in 2017

Joined BookCheck in October 2023. She is MAAT and FCCA qualified with Xero certification.

Qualified ACA with over 20 years industry wide experience.  Worked in practice as auditor before moving across to financial accountant roles within the travel and engineering sectors.  Joined BookCheck in 2015

Qualified accountant since 1999. Joined BookCheck in Feb 22. Enjoys working with lots of different types of business and getting to know them individually.

Linda Catanzaro is a member of the BookCheck team who has worked with the company for over 20 years. She is a supervisor with the accounts team, and also works in the payroll team. She has worked with many varied and interesting clients over the years

Kim is AAT qualified and joined Bookcheck in 2009

Natalia is AAT (level 3) and ICB (level 4) qualified. She has been with BookCheck since 2018

Jane is both AAT and ATT qualified. Working in finance for over 20 years she has been with BookCheck since 2019
